Finding Fresh & Easy Jobs on the Web

Thursday 25 February 2010
Job searching can be rather hard on the web, especially since there are about tens of thousands of people searching the web for jobs almost everyday. Job search sites we recommend here, has always been primitive to look for jobs. However, sometimes we need to take it up a notch and look for more skillful ways to look for applicable jobs. There are many other more effective ways to discovering tasks that needs assistance that is in some way or form is a job. To be a job hunter, one must go beyond much more than just the normal web search.

Lets face it, about everyone is looking for a job. Unemployment rates are peaking to a new high and practically everyone is trying to look for an alternative to supply enough income to cover their usual costs. Fact is, now that many people are scattered and looking around for jobs relentlessly, it means you have to compete with others and prove your self worthy for a task more than ever. As of now, the business owners or people who are looking to hire are at an advantage because there are now a wide range of people they can choose from. Because they now have the luxury of picking among top-notch people with considerably less pay before the economic drought, and from desperate people who will do the task with less pay, they get the upper hand of not having to do any of the searching at all! In other words, no matter how you look at it, the people who are hiring are at an advantage and the job seekers who are looking for paying jobs are at a disadvantage when it comes to pay, ease of looking for more jobs, time it takes to prove yourself worthy for a task, and more.

How to Find Fresh & Easy Jobs

To go beyond looking for jobs from first nature instincts of using job search search engines to find applicable jobs, there are many other ways to finding fresh jobs just as good, but a lot easier.

1.Visit large forums or boards that is related to your expertise. (ex. if you are into web design, look for applicable jobs on the respective large web boards.)
2.Contact webmasters and display your knowledge and skills with your resume for them to see upfront if they are looking to hire.
3.Hire your self and start your very first online business.
4.Look at local newspapers for applicable jobs or opportunities.
5.Contact friends for more connections to more available opportunities.
6.Look for repetitive tasks that need to be done and offer your very own services. In other words, start your own little business.
7.Look on social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace. Generally there are large groups which offers many open opportunities that are often missed by most job seekers.
8.Rather than search for jobs on the top 10 job search sites, be sure to also look at smaller job directories like New York Time’s JobMarket.
9.Stock up on your education and open yourself to more better paying jobs.
10.Look for high paying writing tasks like those we recommend here.
Although finding a job on the web can be a bit difficult to adapt to at first, the good thing about jobs online is that the tasks you do build on each other. In fact, I’ve sometimes heard stories of unknown experienced web designers become part of top paying companies all because of the Internet. The Internet is full of opportunities and the good thing about it is that for those who prosper in their field, generally they are promoted to more higher paying positions. Although this is not generally true to all jobs or professions, it is something to think about when looking for jobs on the web.

8 Free Ways to Bring Traffic to Your Website

In any online business, more traffic or web visitors, is the prime goal. Simply because without web visitors, there is no community. And if there is no community, there are no customers which means that there is no sales. That is why many marketers nowadays resort to over hundred of methods to promoting their online business. From stocking up with credits to advertise on large ad networks like Adwords, to advertising on small individual blogs, online businesses have a variety of options to choose from to bring in more traffic to their website. However, it may be costly for the new beginning webmaster to match up to the same budget. So we’d thought that we’ll compile a short list of ways you can promote your website completely free, that is both effective and time efficient at the same time.

1.The Search Engines – If you haven’t realized, you can generate free web traffic from the search engines. The reason why the search engine is such a powerful source to get free traffic is because almost everyone uses the search engines (google, yahoo, bing) to search for things on the web. However, just be warned that you might see some steep competition to get on the first page. That is why when optimizing for the search engines to generate more traffic, you need to learn a bit of SEO. But, regardless, the free traffic from the search engines is well worth the effort to learn how to rank higher and could keep your online business running for years if done right.

2.Social Networking Sites – Social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, Digg, and Twitter are awesome ways to generate more web traffic and spark more publicity to your overall business if your business can spark interest in the readers. Large social networking sites like Facebook, comes equipped with millions of visitors on it almost everyday. Facebook is ranked the second most visited website in the entire world, right after Google (thats a lot of traffic). And by participating in large social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, and other large social networking sites, you get the ability to attract new found customers and create new relationships that you were previously unable to. With social networking sites, there are no limits and best of all, it is completely free.

3.Participate in Forums – Back when I was still developing my overall knowledge on how generating traffic works, participating in forums at the time was a great way to get traffic with fast results. Forum traffic is great and all, however, don’t count on forum traffic to hang around your website often after the first visit unless you got a pretty catchy web theme. Although forum traffic is an awesome way to generate new leads, most times it is only a temporary source of traffic that you can easily generate 100 visitors/day but without the except of work. Forum traffic is a great way to publicize your new overall business and nonetheless, increase your web exposure on the web.

4.Write Press Releases – Press release sites are great and were purposely made especially for self-promoting. But the only catch with press release sites is that sometimes it may require some sort of fee to submit your news and the news have to be most recent (which means, it cannot news 10 days ago). There is an easy way to avoid the fee, submit only to the free ones that are listed here. Writing up a great press release can overall entice new readers and create new hype or publicity for your overall web business if it sparks readers’ attention. In all aspects of advertising or self promoting, if you entice the average visitor, you are sure to receive more web traffic than you have originally planned.

5.Write to Article Directories – Not only is writing for press release sites the only way to generate more traffic, writing for top article directories like EzineArticles and GoArticles, is a must to attract new found readers. The best thing about article directories is that it allows authors to associate with loyal readers and create a subscriber base of their own. Not only is a large article directories like the ones listed here, a great way to showcase your writing skills and knowledge, articles may find its way to more viewers than if you were publishing it on your website or blog.

6.Write Guest Posts – Writing guest posts on other blogs that relate to your overall business is a great way to publicize what you have to offer to a wider range of readers. The reason why guest posts are an effect way of showcasing new found businesses is because most large blogs have already obtained some number of loyal subscribers, and by writing a guest post, it can prove to be an effect way to generate more quality leads to your website. In my opinion, writing guest posts is more for quality targeted leads. Why go for more visitors when you can have quality.

7.Start Video Social Networking – In edition to regular social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace, video social networking is a powerful way to showcase a new brand overall. Simply because generally YouTube videos that are fun and edgy, find their selves in more hype and in the “thousands viewers” zone. This new found way to generate more web traffic to your website, is a must to go along your list of ways to promote your business. If you haven’t noticed, almost everyone uses YouTube and by incorporating video creation in your tool belt of methods to promoting your business, you can attract a more wider range of potential buyers. And not to say, start even a community of your own.

8.Start a Network of Related Bloggers – If you are into blogging, creating your very own blog network is an awesome way to showcase blog publishings from a wide range of quality bloggers that cover the same topic. Not only is this idea of starting your very own network of related bloggers, is a great way for readers to find more resourceful information on a certain topic, it allows you to create new found relationships as well as increase exposure for each blog associated in the network. Because as you may know, it is a network and the blog shares visitors by openly displaying links to other blogs in the network and so on. A great example of this is at work is 9rules.
